I’m Dr. De Vida Gill, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Speaker, Educator, Author, Creative Strategist, Creative Scholar, Transformational Coach, and former Performing Artist. With over 30 years of experience, I have provided mental health services to teens and adults in a variety of settings, including therapy for children, adolescents, and adults.
My practice focuses on working with creatives, entrepreneurs, and innovative professionals to unmask emotional roadblocks like anxiety, depression, self-doubt, self-esteem issues, and self-sabotaging behaviors. I emphasize the importance of prioritizing wellness and mental health, particularly for individuals with active, creative lifestyles.
I have extensive experience working with creatives in the performing, visual, and literary arts, as well as professionals who consider themselves innovative and visionary leaders and thinkers. As a mental health specialist, transformational coach, and educator, I offer a unique approach that integrates creativity, mental health, and education. My methods encourage emotional exploration, leadership dynamics, artistic expression, and personal growth.
In addition to my clinical work, I’ve served as an adjunct professor in the Graduate Schools of Social Work, Psychology, and Education. I lead with a holistic, eclectic, and strength-based approach, ensuring that each client’s journey is customized to their needs. I provide unbiased support, helping you address emotional challenges and build upon your strengths, while incorporating creative insights for deeper understanding and healing.
